We are looking for skilled and reliable independent contractors with experience in exterior construction, roofing, gutter, or low-voltage lighting work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected contractor will be responsible for the professional and safe installation of Jellyfish Lighting systems according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards. Duties include:
System Installation:Safely installing the proprietary aluminum track and lighting components onto exterior eaves, fascia, and rooflines.
Material Expertise:Proficiently working with and attaching materials to aluminum soffit, fascia, and various exterior siding types.
Low-Voltage Wiring:Performing all necessary low-voltage connections, ensuring connections are weather-proof, secure, and concealed for a clean appearance.
Controller Setup:Configuring the system controller and verifying connectivity and functionality for client app use.
Quality & Testing:Performing a final test of the entire system and ensuring the installation meets high aesthetic and functional standards.
Client Interaction:Maintaining professional conduct and providing a brief operational overview to the client upon completion.
CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE A RELIABLE VEHICLE & CELL PHONE
Experience:Prefer 1+ years in exterior construction, roofing, siding, gutter, or low-voltage lighting installation.
Technical Skill:Demonstrated ability to work effectively with aluminum soffit and fascia.
Physical Requirements:Must be comfortable and skilled working safely on ladders (including extension ladders up to 32ft) and high access areas. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Tools & Equipment:No equipment needed for general installer,but to be promoted to a crew leader you must have a 32 – 42 foot extension ladder, tin snips, wire strippers, tool belt, glow rods.
Professionalism:Punctual, self-motivated, with a strong commitment to reliable work and excellent customer service. Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
COMPENSATION
Compensation is competitive and calculated on a per-project basis, but projects typically pay between $2.00–$3.00 per linear foot installed, depending on complexity, role, and performance.
